Hey EricCantu,

Loved this post—thank you! 😊 I’ve been using ChatGPT for my YouTube scripts too, and your tips really hit home. At first, my scripts felt too formal, not really me. But reading them out loud (like you suggested) helped me find the parts to tweak and add my own voice.

I also started adding little things I naturally say in conversations, and it’s made a big difference—it now feels like I’m truly talking to my audience.

Can’t wait to check out the next part of your series. You’re making ChatGPT fun and real!

I see your using GPT for your WA comments too. If you’re practicing using it here so you feel more comfortable using it for your content, that’s fine, but work on changing it up and making it your own so it’s not just a pasted AI comment 👍🏼

When it’s just a pasted AI comment as this one is, it loses its authenticity and sincerity.

Good morning Eric,

I must admit that I have never used a script for a video, but I do use bullet points, which reminds me of what I want to say and then I say it in my own words. Rightly or wrongly! I think I would find it quite hard to read a script for a video, however, the bullet points appear to work!

Thank you for video and have a great day.

Yeah, bullet points are my style. If I’m teaching a class then I know the curriculum, I just need to the main bullet points to guide me 👍🏼

Thank you, Eric.

It's always interesting to see how members carry out certain tasks, etc, it sounds like great minds think alike.

Wishing you a fantastic weekend.

Another great lesson. So, when you change the script to sound like your voice, do you feed that back into ChatGPT so it becomes even more familiar with your style and personality?

You can. 👍🏼 The more you work with it the better it gets. It’ll never be perfect, but this process is a quick one 💯

Great Vlog, Eric.

I am glad you are making these for us when we get ready to do YouTube. That being said. I use Chatty and Copilot to brainstorm and collaborate on my ideas. But, I mostly guide, steer, and tweak to get what I want. However, I do tighten my grip on the leash to be more controlling when any AI goes off the script of the story I am trying to write.

Let it do the heavy lifting and then make it your own. That’s the power of AI 👍🏼

That 'being taken out of the movie', when you watch bad acting in an otherwise decent show - that resonates with me massively. Some actor ruined the whole show I've been watching in his very first scene. As soon as he started talking - I could feel the camera, runners in the background, director yelling instructions, everything. Ruined the whole show.

Back to the point - you're so right, ChatGPT can create the structure, but the rest (humanising/making it more authentic) is down to the creators.

Thanks for the tutorial.

Glad you enjoyed it!
