Hi, Dear WA Community,
Just dropping by to give you a quick update on how things are going on my end.
I was absent most of last week since I traveled out of town to take care of some personal matters. And this week, I have been working on my two sites, although I haven't been active on WA.
Anyway, I've been applying for more affiliate programs to monetize my sites. I've been accepted by most, but I'm still waiting on a few. Fingers crossed!
I also updated my affiliate program spreadsheet using Jay's template. I forgot where I got it from, but I think it was from one of the webinars from last month. It's great for keeping track of all your programs.

Last week I received an email from CJ saying my account would be deactivated within 30 days. Supposedly, I'll be able to reactivate it, but I don't know if I'll have to change my links. Anyone been through this?
I also received an email from Google inviting me to update to the new universal tag, whatever that is. I tried to do it, but I think I did something wrong. Not sure if I should even bother. Thoughts?
I'm also trying to vary the length of my posts. For instance, earlier this week I wrote a blog of almost 3,500 words. It was an itinerary. Those posts seem to be popular among travelers. If you're in the travel niche, I recommend you try it. They do take more time for writing, but they attract a good number of visitors. It has been my most popular pin so far.
Last but not least, I've been tweaking my sites. On my travel site, I added some pages to the top menu to optimize my affiliate links and make them easier to find. On my French site, I just added Ad Sense since it seem to be getting more visitors than my travel site. I've also been adding some links, banners, and quote widgets here and there.
I've been meaning to start an email marketing campaign, but I've just been pushing it back each time. I already have an ebook I created. I need to work on that. :/
I've also been planning to open a YouTube channel, and I even bought a lapel microphone for that as I'll start with my phone and then upgrade if need be.
