WA Questions - My Problem.

Well, this is my problem on how WA handles questions asked. I have been compelled to write this blog after my question have received response from one or two members however not the answers really.

Sometimes, a question has got over 10 comments but when you look to see who've been commenting, you get to realize that its the author and maybe just one other member trying to help, and in the process of trying to solve the problem comments accumulate.

The Problem

The problem is that, the way WA differentiates between an answered question and one that is not, is through a comment. When a question receives a comment, its assumed to have been answered.

This makes the potential problem solvers to ignore such questions, simply because they will assume that such questions have already been answered.

Personally, I have always re-written the question and re-post it in a different but similar class. I even go ahead and get into a chat where I give a link to my question to someone else willing to help.

"If the symptoms persists, seek medical advice". When no solution, Kyle and Carson are the last resort of course. But, there could be someone amongst the members who would have given a solution, and in a quicker way.

My Suggestion

Just like some other good forums out there, I suggest that WA leaves it to the author of the question to mark a correct answer and declare a question answered.

This way, regardless of the number of comments, the questions that have not yet received a right answer will remain "Unanswered".
