Ok so I started on all the sites, but as per the training I don't want to spend endless hours on them. So far I have the following, some with better response than others:
You don't need to use all of them. Facebook and G+ are the usual recommendations. I just share on twitter and Pinterest sometimes to get a couple extra eyes. You're right, you'll get overwhelmed and consume a lot of time trying to keep up with them all. Actually, I don't even use FB I use Intsagram.
Hope this helps :)

So would you recommend Instagram then? I haven't used it before - this is linked to Facebook?
Thanks.
Use Instagram only if you use a lot of images. It is like FB but more image sharing focused. No groups, pages or anything like that so its like Twitter in that sense. But yes, I would recommend using Instagram over FB. You can link your FB so that your IG posts to FB but your engagement won't be the same as if you post natively on FB.
What I do in this case is just copy and paste the same post to IG and FB. If you are on PC download Gramblr and you can upload right from your computer to IG. I forget the one for Apple but a quick search should come up with it.
Hope this helps :)

Social engagement sites do I need them all?

Using them all tends to take up time but there is nothing one can do than to follow what Kyle has told us to do, which is associating with all of them with patience you may one day get lucky with one or two of them. But as he said do not spend all your time to it.
Cheers
