My Update: 3.5 Week Update and a Big Thanks

Well, it's been almost 4 weeks and I just couldn't resist the temptation to write an update, so that's what you'll find on this blog-post. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to spend any time on Wealthy Affiliate the first 3 days after I signed up. But I sure did put a lot of work in the past few weeks, check it out:

Week 1

1.I purchased my domain

2.I upgraded to Premium

3.I finished-up through Certification Course 1, Lesson 4

4.I chose to switch to the Affiliate Bootcamp niche

5.I began writing content on my website

Week 2:

1.I wrote 5 pages on my website

2.I completed phase 1 of Affiliate bootcamp

3.I was able to finish Phase 1 of Affiliate Bootcamp

Week 3:

1.I was able to reach 33 comments on my website

2.Built out my website 5 more pages (10 pages total)

3.Wrote 3 blog posts

4.Accumulated 33 comments

5.Started phase 2 of training

6.Changed and improved my WordPress Theme and improved overall appearance and readibility

Week 4:

I hope to get a lot accomplished but won't be able to devote as much time for this week. I want to focus on building up comments and doing less time intensive tasks this week because of scheduling.

Well, that's it! In just 3 weeks, I was able to go from absolutely no knowledge to a very attractive website with a great start on content. I now also understand a bit about keywords, SEO, website performance, writing good content, image formatting, and more. The fact that I can't even remember all the things I've learned and applied here at Wealthy Affiliate, is in itself a testimony of the quality training here.

To all of you members who were able to help me time-after-time, I personally thank you. Your help has been much appreciated.

Advice for new members:

It's easy to get frustrated on the smallest little details in the beginning, so if you have a question, just ask! Then, if you don't find your answer immediately, and if it's not crucially important, just move on. Do not spend too much time on the details right now. Your question will likely be answered later in the training.

I was able to accomplish all of this in 3 weeks, and I didn't even spend as much time as I should have working on my website. If you're a new member, whether you make quick progress or not is irrelevant. What you need to do is find out how to consistently progress in a way that is feasible for you and your schedule. Also, you will begin to learn how to work more efficiently as you learn the basics.

Slow growth to success is better no growth, so keep at it!
