My Update: 2nd Month at Wealthy Affiliate

Well, since my last update, I've been able to get a lot of things done on my website. I didn't get as much work done as I had hoped, but progress is progress nonetheless.

So, here are a few things I've accomplished over the past 4 weeks:

1.) Website:

• 7 new blog posts (10 total now)
• 6 new pages (16 total now)
• Improved overall appearance
• Improved overall performance
• 121 total website comments published
• Still confusing myself with keywords and how to use them...

2. Social Media

• Setup Google (nominal followers)
• Setup Facebook (nominal followers)
• Setup Twitter (nominal followers
• Setup Pinterest
• Acquired 106 pinterest followers

3. Analysis

• Google webmaster tools setup
• Google analytics setup
• Authorship and verification
• Fetched as Google all pages/posts
• Fixed structured data with Google Highligher

4. Wealthy Affiliate Community

• Achieved a ranking of 45 for a few days, must have been an error
• My actual ranking now is 265

5. Other Projects

• Purchased 1 domain for my wife. She's progressing well on her website with 7 pages already completed!
• Purchased 1 domain for a niche website I plan to begin in November that will complement my wife's website niche (part of the niche she isn't covering)

Even though I hoped to get more accomplished, I'm really happy with our progress thus far. I would not have accomplished any of the above if I had not found the training here at Wealthy Affiliate. The training here is the best available when it comes to starting an online business.

If you're new to Wealthy Affiliate, I have advice for you:

If you're tempted to procrastinate, do the opposite. If you plan to be a successful business owner, you need to develop healthy habits of productivity now. You won't automatically learn how to be productive and it's something we all struggle with. So, work "against the grain" as they say and make it a point to be productive with your time.
