My Progress Thus Far!

Hello my friends here in WA! I am so excited to share with you my 5 month progress. I have learned so much and thanks to all of you, I am really enjoying this community of colleagues who have been vital to my success!

I have finished the 50 lesson Certification Course and I have 15% of the entrepreneur course finished!

I have made much progress in building a viable niche website. I have written 27 blog posts for my website, Outdoor Patio Misters.

I have written a total of around 38,000 words, which site content says I have written more than 97% of WA members this month! I am proud of that.

My website, Outdoor Patio Misters, seems to be somewhat of a seasonal niche. With the advice from the WA Community, I have been branching out to include outdoor living spaces as part of my niche.

I bought another domain that describes things better, but I haven't changed it yet and I am not sure I will. I am getting indexed and so far have 2 rankings on Google with my newer content that is more inclusive of outdoor living spaces.

What I Have Learned (Some Of It, Anyways!)

I have learned a lot so far and I guess, making mistakes are an opportunity for growth! I have made plenty of them, that's for sure.

I had a mess for a while with permalinks and post titles that I changed for better SEO but didn't change the permalink. It has taken me a while to sort it all out as I have had many, many 404-not found errors.

I have learned how to use the plug-in, "Redirection". We are now the best of friends!

Another important thing I have learned is that this community always comes through when help is needed! I have asked many questions along the way and I am repeatedly so grateful and impressed by WA members who always pay it forward by helping others out.

What a fantastic community!

Question For Your Consideration

I have not made any money yet which is fine but I am wanting to know if any member here who has it down (making money online) would allow me to read some blogs from your site, for insight.

If you are willing to share, please pm me your website information. I would be forever grateful to you as I feel like I need some examples of success related to sales.

Another piece of the pie that I want to know more about is how to get backlinks. I have read many many articles about it and I am still in the dark about how to garner them.

I would like to hear of some examples of successful ways to do so without buying them or begging for them.

I Am Proud Of

I am proud of a lot, but the top thing is that I have been able to keep moving forward after some setbacks. I am determined to keep going! It's become a joy and a challenge to write content and to keep answering what readers want to know in my particular niche.

I have benefited from all of the training surrounding writing relevant content and I feel like I am just getting going. I have so many ideas!

My plans And Goals In The Upcoming 3 Months

I want to fine-tune my content to really connect with my readers. I would like to be able to garner more organic searches and increase my traffic.

I can feel something changing, and I am on a mission to continue to write relevant content and improve my writing skills.

I also have a goal of increasing my content by doing 7 post/pages of Review and 8 pages/posts of regular keyword blog posts.

I will finish enterepreneur training at the end of 3 months.

6 Month Down The Road (around April 2022)

I have a goal of writing 60 articles in total. That's 30 more articles.

15 post/pages will be Review and 15 will be regular keyword posts/pages.

I know that I can do this! I have found that I enjoy writing reviews of products and the feedback that I am receiving is to add more.

I shall do more reviews and continue to search out what people want to know in my niche area.
