Free Graphic Design Tools Like CANVA - Check out these alternatives

Are you looking for free sites that can help you to design your logo, header image, customize pictures for your blog post?
Sharing is caring. So, today I would like to share some free sites like Canva as alternatives for you when you are trying to create graphics, printables, and more for your website or blog post.
Just in case some of you don't know what Canva is, here is the screenshot of their site:
I have used Canva way before I started my affiliate marketing journey. I have created lesson plans, printables, social media graphics, etc with Canva.
"But I am not artistic. I don't know how to design stuff".
Don't worry! You do not need to be an expert in graphic designs. These sites have templates we can edit and use for branding our website or YouTube channel.
Maybe some of you are familiar with these 5 sites, please let me know in the comment section down below. :)

1. Stencil
Just like Canva, they have pretty cool templates you can explore. Click on Templates, type for example "Logo" on their template search engine. Choose one logo you like, then play around with it. You can change the color scheme, text, etc.
2. Snappa
When you click on template, on the left-hand side menu, they have categorized their templates into: Social media graphics, Blogging and infographics, Headers and Advertising. Each one of them has cool sub-categories you can choose from based on what you need.
3. DesignBold
When I click on Flyer in the Template drop down, it takes me to a page with nice templates with sub-categories on top (Food, Fashion, Marketing, etc).
4. Fotor
By using Fotor, you can edit an image/photo, make a collage, or create your own design.
5. Piktochart
They use the term "Format" instead of Template. You can create Infographics (for those of you who are familiar with Pinterest know what it is :) wink wink), Social media graphics, presentations, reports. flyers, and posters as well here.
There you go folks. I know they are another shiny objects but if you use them right, they'll serve a great purpose for your online business (website, YouTube channel, etc). 👌🏼😉
Note: Just like any other tools or services, they have Free and Premium versions.
I use the free version of Canva. Sometimes I do buy one or two pictures that I cannot get from royalty free sites like pexels.com, unspalsh.com, pixabay.com, etc. It's not expensive, they only cost around $1 per picture (excluded taxes).

I’ll check them out, I need some thing that will allow me to cut off any part of a picture multiple times. I can find lots of things to cut out some thing from a picture but I haven’t been able to find anything that will allow me to cut off any section.

You will need a higher-end photo editor but there is a free option to Photoshop called gimp and it will help you smart select portions of images and cut out backgrounds etc.. It's tough to learn but it does as well as photoshop without the cost once you do.

Glad you can get your pictures done. Andy is right. Photoshop is a handy app to have.
Usually I can crop pictures using Canva too and add it to my designs. Or I simply use the app I have in my computer. I do have Photoshop, sometimes I use Paint as well.
Just about any photo editing program can crop but I needed something that would actually remove (cut away) specific sections of a photograph. Gimp was easy to install and use. I’ll be doing all my photo editing with it from now on.
Great Info. I strongly believe in quality graphics to make any post more interesting and inviting, so I will definitely check all these sites. The image costs are lower than Pexels, Pixabay, and others so that's a nice benefit. If you buy their pics, do they force you to pick one of their plans? Thank you

Yes, you are right. Good graphics help to improve readers' experience.
Since I use the free version of Canva, there are pictures that I can't use for free. It has Canva's watermark in it. The cost per 1 picture is cheap ($1) so we can delete the watermark. However, you may choose to go with Canva Pro.
Canva Pro is $9.95 per month when paid annually or $12.95 paid monthly. Canva Pro is the premium plan of Canva that comes with additional features including unlimited storage for photos and assets

For an excellent tutorial on free graphic design tools other than Canva. my main objective is to use these tools for Pinterest marketing. I like what I see in Piktochart , but would like your opinion on which of the others would be best suited for Pinterest.

Hi Ronn,
For Pinterest, I choose to use Canva because I can do both video pins and photo pins. They have templates for both.
That said, I start to like Piktochart as well. I haven't checked it out that much yet.
