Black Friday Video - Not Perfect - But Proud I Pulled It Off

I Set Myself A Challenge.

When I was brainstorming ideas to promote Wealthy Affiliate for Black Friday I decided I wanted to try and create a video. I had no Idea how I was going to do it, but my stubbourness came through and I pulled it off.

I knew I didn't want to film myself directly, I am too shy and unsure for that - at least for now. But wanted to at least use my image to try and build trust.

So I decided to embrace the new AI world.

The Idea...

I asked a handful of the AI platforms to give me 10 creative Facebook ad ideas. I got plenty of good and bad, some overlapped and I plan to try some of those as well.

ChatGPT ended up winnind the challenge in the end, a "Future You Will Thank You" concept.

I loved it, something I thought would resonate with my potential audience.

ChatGPT broke it down for me scene by scene and provided me with a voiceover script.

Now What...

So, I had the blueprints, but how do I build it.

Enter WA's AI Image Studio.

I built all images around the scene by scene descriptions and my image.

Image studio did a great job with capturing what I wanted, (I few hiccups along the way, but I am still perfecting my prompting.)

Putting It All Together...

So I had all the puzzle pieces, now how to put it all together.

A whole lot of googling later, I settled on HeyGen. I could create a personal AI Avatar, Voiceover and a few free videos per month.

Only downside, a watermark, but that's what you deal with when you want to do it for free.
There were several templates to choose from, I eventually decided to build from scratch as it was a relatively simple project. Create your scenes, add your images and your avatar, preview, perfect and then you are ready export.
There was only one thing missing that I could get for free, subtitles. In a time of silent scrolling, probably considered a must have.

Enter Canva...

Canva very quickly took care of this problem, import your project and it automatically creates the subtitles to fit your video.

Time to Share...

I had to put aside my perfectionist nature to do this one. But I pushed my anxiety aside and clicked post.

But it is now live on Facebook, X and on a whim TikTok.

Results So Far...

It's only been live on Facebook for less than a day, boosted.

TikTok, this one surprised me, having zero followers and no other posts...

I am considering if it is worth boosting that for a bit and seeing what happens? If anyone has done that before I would love to hear about it.

Final Thoughts...

It's amazing what you can pull off with a little persistance and embracing the ever growing list of tools that are out there.

You never know what you can achieve if you just bite the bullet and try.
