Successful Thoughts - An Entrepreneurial Collation

Success is on my mind. I just watched some great videos outlining advice from well-known entrepreneurs.

Here is a very quick overview of that wonderful information.

• PASSION is key to your success, because when it gets hard - and it will - your passion will be only thing driving you forward and stopping you from quitting.
• Sell, market and invest in what you understand. Don't go for something you think is easy but don't know anything about. Some knowledge and experience will always go far.
• Sell, market and invest in YOU as the target demographic. Understand yourself - understand your target audience. Study all your habits (especially financial) and you will know about your audience.
• Fill a need. Supply and demand. Look at your own life for inspiration.
• Don't listen to naysayers, ever.
• Don't follow trends.
• An entrepreneurial journey is hard work. Accept it now and be prepared.
• Learn excellent communication. Learn, practice and get better. Communication is everything!
• Take advantage of your strengths - don't waste them!
• Never give up.
• Don't horde ideas. Get the ball rolling. Start creating. Begin your project NOW.
• Meet like-minded people and network and communicate.
• Find a good partner - high intelligence, high energy, and high integrity. (Most invaluable and hard to find thing on this list I think!)
• Constantly seek criticism.
• Never stop asking questions.
• Mistakes are ok - keep going!
• Believe in your product, in your hard work, in your creation and YOU convince others of it's worth.
• Push the limits, and if you don't have moments of doubt, you probably aren't pushing the limits enough.
• Understand WHY you do what you do. What is your purpose?
• The hardest thing is executing your idea. Practice, advertise, execute, build and communicate.
• Take over small markets - don't go for giant ones.
• Make use of online communities - a wealth of information, feedback and experience.
• Test your ideas and make sure your audience likes it and thinks it works.
