I have received a thank you email from EWWW Image Optimizer For using their service, but I am at a lost as to what I am doing to receive this email. The email I received is noted below.

Free AP1 Key - Thank you for helping to make EWWW Image Optimizer a better plugin. Your key is valid for 500 images and may be used on multiple websites. I was also given a link to get familiar with the Image Optimizer.

I don't know anything about this service, and I am not sure if I am using it. Should I ignore this or try to find out more?

Thank you for your help and support with this as I am not familiar with this.

When building a new site I click the "ALLOW" button on the support beacon for the EWWW image optimizer. I received the same email. It's not a big deal. You may even get a newsletter from them.

It's not insidious in anyway.

Thank you. It's good to know more of what this really mean. I can relax now that this is not dangerous.
All the best to you.

I don't remember receiving a thank you from EWWW Image. I didn't do anything special with my plug ins. I only used the default settings which was set by WA.

Thank you very much.

By default, if you have a website on Site Rubix you have the EWWW Image Optimizer installed. So whether you know it or not, you are a customer, EWWW is just sending you a courtesy Thank You note and additional information.

You can ignore it and not do anything. Really.

Thank you very much. I don't know why they would do this.

yes, all our WA websites have EWWW but I've not received any thing like that. Don't worry about it.

Thank you. All the best.

Every website built here at WA since the end of 2017, automatically has the EWWW Image Optimizer installed. However I have never received an email such as this. I would ignore it for now.
