Creating a Favicon For Your Website Tab

Hi all, This is just something that I personally wanted for my website as I felt it gave it that professional touch, but it's all down to personal choice at the end of the day, I don't think it will affect sales in any way.

Now I didn't know what it ws called before I started looking into it, but you know the little square image you often see on the top tab of any website you have open

Well they are called "Favicons" & I wanted one for my websites.

All you need to do, within wordpress, is go to Plugins > Add New in the search box type Favicon I chose "PhpSword Favicon Manager" (it should be 2nd down on the left hand column) install that. Once that's installed it should show within your left hand menu

Click on that & then upload an image you want to use. Make sure it is enabled & you can upload 2 images & choose which one you want to show as your favicon

I'm only on Course 4 Lesson 8, so I don't know if any of this has been covered on later lessons or courses.

Apologies if it has, I just wanted to share something new I found out about today that was all :)
