Thanks for your information but when I get to the subscription link, it doesn't link me to another page such as cancelling page.

Hi everyone. anyone out there know about using the pro astra theme with the elementor basic page bui
Using the Pro Astra theme with the basic Elementor basic
for elementor i would advise watching the videos on their site - they are the best training i have come across
but don't get too hungup on using that at the start - concentrate on getting content on your site
and have a nice clean black text on white background - with images in hte post - peopel are looking for answers to their questions - does a pretty site answer that or does the content......
good luck

Do you know how I would link from the bottom part of a post to the another location on that same post in GeneratePress?
Thanks,
Charlie
Found it. Here's the link: Anchor Text, Jump Link, Link to Content on the Same Page, FAQ Links Hope this helps.
Colette and Philip
Thank you very much as I'm relatively a newbie so far.
How about linking from a post to a specific spot in another post?
Yes, you can do that too. Follow the same steps and add the other post's URL into the link. e.g. https://example.com/other-post/#anchor
Thanks, Marion, I didn't realize we could do that. To be able to target a specific section in a post is great. Gonna play with that today.
Philip
I'm sure you have seen Marion's response to your second question. I didn't know you could link to a specific part of another post so I have learned something new from your asking your original question. Thank you.
Philip
That was just a generic example of what such a link could look like. Here's a real-world instance

You will need to create what is known as a jump link. It's not difficult but it involves a number of steps and getting involved with code. There is a training on this, I will look for it and get back to you.

Installing youtube media in your site to several places vs. installing a link of the media in those places.
I came across this decision recently building my site. My tho
Installing videos on your site is going to take a huge bandwidth hit. You hosting service will take issue and cite fair use problems. Besides, unless the hosting plan you have is made for playing videos (most aren't) then your site will slow to a crawl. Embedding is definately the way to go.
If you feel as though you want more control and host your videos, you can use a paid plan with Vimeo, Wistia, or even WordPress. They have special plans where you can host your videos and then incorporate them into your website.
Embedding a YouTube video is the preferred method, and is also graphical for the vistor. However, you may want to consdider Lazy Loading/Deferring the iframe, so that it doesn't slow your website down.
Another alternative, is to use the Thumbnail of the video on your site, which is hyperlinked to the video directly on YouTube.
Hi - there is no problem with adding YouTube videos to your site, providing you embed them as per this training. Embed YouTube Video in WordPress
Which is better-installing media vs. the link to media?
