Besides the no. of daily Covid 19 confirmed cases on the news, I am particularly interested in paying my attention to the Unemployment Rate.
Sad but not surprised at all to learn that unemployment rate has rise for nine straight months (in HK), reaching it's highest in more than 15 years. Job market situation continues to deteriorate in the coming months and recovery will depend on handling of the pandemic crisis (God knows when)!!
No doubt this is a negative news, Covid 19 is one of the biggest global enemy we ever face. However, I see some light in the tunnel.

As more people are unemployed yet lesser job opportunities in the market; some of these jobless people might start to look for a transformation as the chance of returning to their own job with the same pay is lean.
