Self sabotaging behaviors are big obstacles

Hi WA Community,

I am a starter who joined WA few days ago. I was excited the day I found WA. I shared what I found with close friends, but their responses surprised me that gave me a good rethink of what's lying under our mind are usually the biggest obstacles to breakthroughs. Not to say doing a successful business, but even hard to think out of the box.

One of my girlfriends came to me to grumble how much difficulties she's facing as she develops her online shop to sell women's clothing. As we both are in the course of establishing our website, she came to me for some advice. After some chat I told her I found WA, an affiliate marketing platform. She showed great reluctance, she explicitly said this is not for her, she added this kind of things existed for many years and is not going to work.

I had another similar experience when I shared WA to a close colleague of mine. One day, she took me to a mall nearby our office; the mall was quiet and empty, 1/3 of the mall has no tenant, 1/3 of the shops did not open, 1/3 of the shops are opened but no business........she was trying to show me doing business is going to fail especially under such economy. She's educated in the US, a certified accountant, so that she thinks she will be working until the day she retires.

Apparently friends around me are not readily in-sync with me on this area, but I am once again convinced that this is traditional mindset of ordinary people with ordinary education. It's normal that people usually don't believe in things they don't see with their own eyes, people make decisions based on their knowledges and past experiences. People's fear to unknown is bigger than their faith. They are alright to take no as an answer, the finite mind will limit the infinite. Taking the Olymipic Gold Medal winners as an example, they won't succeed if they don't believe they can push the limit to reach higher potential. They deserve the kudos as they do extraordinary things where ordinary people won't do.

If we expect to have a breakthrough in our lives, we should walk out of the comfort zone, think out of the box, do extraordinary things, and be surrounded by like-minded people.

Thanks to WA community, I am going to sign up as a Premium today. I deliberately make this my first blog article to record the day., I don't know where would this decision take me, I am happy to spend time to be trained, follow the system and take the advices of WA fellows.
