I would like to temporary move my .com website to siterubix. How do I do that?
Hi Elisa,
Why would you wish to do that? I am not sure it can be done. Are you asking how to point or move a domain name to W.A. Perhaps provide some further details and the community may be able to help further or contact Site Support, they were very quick and helpful to me when I had a domain query.
Anything else just reach out
Regards ...Age...
Not sure that can be done Elisa, siteRubix is a sub domain why would you want to move a .com to a sub domain?

I’m not sure if that’s possible. You’ll have to contact the site support for that. I try to move my .com domain to my siterubix and there’s only my other .com domain shown in the Choose existing dropdown. I check that just now.

I really would like to have affiliate links in pretty much every post I write, but I know that Google would rank me lower for that. Now I came up with a construction and would
I had just decided to go for your advice Loes but then I read this: What Google Thinks About Affiliate Links. You'll Be Surprised I even asked Kyle for his opinion about this article. Till I hear from him I will just keep going as I do. This above article makes so much sense to me!
I too asked myself many times: If I create great content, why should Google bather about me getting some earnings out of it?
Elisa if you have enough content on your site it doesn't matter. Until you are ranking and bringing in traffic affiliate links will do you no good anyway. I would suggest bbuilding out your site with more quality content like you have on there now
Have a read through this thread, it probably answers more than I could: Is it a good idea or not to cloak your links?
when you hide a link like that it is still there. It may be hidden from the visitors few but it is still embedded. Google knows it's there because the embedded code is there. In truth unless you really know what you are doing it is almost impossible to hide a link within a webpage.
If you engage the viewer and they trust what you are saying. They will find the link. Put yourself in customers shoes. Think your last purchase, what were you feeling and thinking at the time. You already know how to connect with buyers because you are a buyer. You bought this(WA), how did you feel when purchasing? Make your customer feel the same thing. Believe me if you do that they will find the link even if you hide it from them!!!
How is it that the affiliate link is still there (embeded) when it is not mentioned in the post at all? Also not as a cloaked link.
The affiliate link is ONLY in the pdf. In the post there is only a link to the pdf.

As yo
I cannot see anything wrong with your placement we are advised no more that 3 however if you have good content will be fine the other option is to create product reviews, then you can offer a link there you can also create a page to link up all your reviews
My plan is now as following... (please give your comments to this?)
I place a picture with some text on my post of the toothpaste and other tooth brushing stuff. The picture looks as if it has a clickable link in the text (but the text is in reality also part of the picture).
When people click on the picture a lightbox pops up. In the lightbox a page of mine is shown that has all kinds of products that are for dog tooth brushing. Here are my real affiliate links.
I'm still looking for the right plugin to do this but it would be something like the below mentioned plugin. It can show a page in a light box popup. (I could even have all my affiliate links in a separate website.)
Anybody having a good idea for the right plugin, I'd love to hear that.

you could create a review site there is a plugin called WP product review lite that will give it a nice finish with star rating and you can have links
Looks like another day of editing - maybe no new post lol. Or maybe I should do one post a day and work on new one at the same time....
Elisa here are a couple of articles that should help Where To Add Affiliate Links For Results Properly Using Affiliate Links
Well I can't really talk because one of my sites has tonnes of affiliate links - but I don't totally rely on Google with that. My WA site I may still add a few now and again. However, I do think if the links are relevant and you have quality content, it's not a problem. One thing I did notice was you need to vary your anchor text, as saw a lot of "click here." Check out this training! :) What is Anchor Text
The problem is that my readers do not need just one product but a toothbrush and toothpaste and maybe more. I need to offer some choices. Would it be an idea to put a banner at the bottom that links to a special page where I show the products that would be used for the dog's tooth brushing (in this case)
Any other ideas?
You could create an Amazon store on one page like a shop with all relevant products and then link to your shop page rather than Amazon ... I haven't created one yet, so I'm not sure how they work but I've seen others with them.
In the past I have placed 2 links in my post, and had no problem. Now I just try to use a banner at the bottom, as long as it goes along with the article.
I must support Kyle idea here, choose the best one(affiliate link) you want to promote per post, its neater and you will be taken seriously as someone who is really offering service rather than wanting to make a sale.

We all love to have comments on our website, so we help each other with that. It also helps in ranking in the search engines.
Great service and I'll keep using it cause i
Yes, its true Google is responsive mostly to content, and they are not concerned with or rank pictures.
Perhaps they don't rank me higher for my pictures, but often enough I have found a website because I liked their picture in the picture search. So still a good idea to name your pictures right.
Theoretically if you kept moving about computers and using different IP addresses you could leave loads of comments and not be detected. But comments don't affect the ranking that much so why would you bother?
Comments are a great way to add content, show some level of engagement and add to your freshness ranking- but an easier way if you are not getting any comments would be to just update blog posts on a regular basis.
