Let me explain, since 'art' is so broad!
I've been thinking about focusing on art and art history for my first website here at WA. I'd like to focus on the Romantic p
Your projections all sound great! Find the artists in this niche whose work you like the most and begin with them. A history on art in the Romantic Period would be good and for the front page, what you enjoy so much about this type of art, which artists you enjoy the most from the period and move on to artists of today that are neo-romatic. (my only choice of words to express what I mean.
I personally enjoy art and music from all ages and for music, I have an incredibly large library in chronological order that goes back from today to the Byzantine Empire, well before the Medieval period and including all in between. Man's works of art astound me!
Thanks for the advice, Daniel! I like your ideas about introducing the topic on the front page. And wow, that sounds like quite a library! :) Must be hard to ever put a book down.
Also, you helped me pick a domain name! :) I'm going with Neoromanticism for now. Thanks again for the input.

It would be nice to see! It reminds me that there is an ongoing battle to keep the SteamPunk Genre pure to form... All the best in your niche, Elfauna!
Thanks for the well wishes and good luck to you too! Yes, it'll be interesting to try to define what romanticism in art looks like today. I think it's really a matter of opinion, but that should serve for good discussion and debate, I hope!
