Slow But Steady Progress

I am just about to complete my level 2 training - kind of slow since I started 6 weeks ago I know, but "slow and steady wins the race", right? I keep plugging along - each lesson in WA's training has taught me so much.

Actually, I am amazed to have progressed this far, learning way more than I anticipated. Obviously, by now, I've created my website for my niche (which lies within the art world) and have been building it out. But what it took to get there - coming up with a niche, domain, theme, going live with the website etc. - each were major accomplishments to me and so exciting at the time.

Then much to my surprise, my URL got indexed just 3 weeks after I began WA! I remember seeing the notice just before turning in for the night - hard to get to sleep, I was so excited! Also, 2 out of my 4 posts have been indexed as well so far. Needless to say, these rewards are great motivators!

It's not just the tangible accomplishments, but the internal changes that keep me going, too. The growth in me as a person - learning something I questioned being able to learn - has been a confidence booster and is so uplifting. And giving back to the community when I am able is heartwarming as well.

The Next 3-6 Months

As I'm about to begin Level 3 soon, my goals over the next 3 months include hopefully seeing my site/posts start to rank and learning to monetize the content as well.

Within the next 6 months, as I continue adding content to offer help to artists/aspiring artists, I foresee establishing a foothold in the online world.

Also, I look forward to that first commission. Although I'm resisting the temptation to put a date on when that will happen, let's just say that will be cause for celebration that day!

I hope to have a more in-depth knowledge of this business, too, so I am more able to help community members with meaningful assistance.

The Journey Continues...

The past 6 weeks being a part of Wealthy Affiliate has really given me something special! I can hardly wait to see what awaits in my future!
