So, this is the best time for me to blog apparently. Good to know. I've decided my niche will be laboratory fashion. It's a growing niche, with sciene-themed clothing gaining a following I'm loving! I honestly wish beautiful labcoats were a norm since open toed shoes aren't allowed in micro (or any science) labs. A lot of the fashion is psychology inspired, and I've seen some beautiful dresses with brainwave inspired patterns.
My first post will probably be geared towards showcasing my current science clothing. I have a dress with constellations all over that glow in the dark, shorts with chemical equations and shoes with experiment and theory symbols. It's a pretty cool little collection, and I need to grow it. There's some unexpected doors that I was very happy to open by walking out in my educational fashion, including being features for my school's science department on their Instagram page!

I'm really excited about doing future shopping for these items, since there aren't many designers with this pattern I think I'm really going to have a ball. Plus, anything that doesn't expose skin is fair game in the lab! I love getting compliments before doing experiments, and one of my late, dear professors would always compliment nice outfits I wore and out effort into. This meant alot on days I didn't want to come to lab, felt too stupid and ugly for my major/ current career venture, and when I just plain wasn't expecting it. I think about it alot at times I feel like my outfit just isn't right or that my work is too hard. Confidence matters folks, and it's very easy to spread with one compliment at a time!
(Are your eyes drooping yet? Wow... what a trooper!)
It also really challenges the mind, when your clothes provoke thoughts so... not normally associated with what you wear unless it's a graphic tee or says words is awesome. I've started up really great conversations with physics and chemistry professors, as well as my fellow golf players while teeing off thanks to some of my science fashionista swag. Whenever I wear my constellations dress. I think about space and how insignificant earth is. Just how much is out there? How much is in just one little dress, what about the one I'm wearing ? Theres connections, galaxies, art, suggestions, ideas and more being casually displayed on my body. Easy to forget with a quick walk by, It's quite intriguing.
(Sigh, this reminds me of my early blogging days... I'm talking 7 year old on 2008 WordPress, guys. Insane. I would be up late just writing , absolutely nothing to really blog about but I had a natural niche and , almost , was just journaling. I'm going to stop at 500 words, I need sleep and know I can make it to 1500 but honestly it's time for bed. Always remember to take care of yourselves y'all, especially if you're new to WA and really eager about learning about online entrepreneurship. I know I am!)

This sounds like a great idea!!! and a wonderful niche market. Your dress sounds awesome too. Do you get designer to make your clothes or do you just find them like that. It has peaked my interest.

Thank you, I'm glad to know someone else thinks so ! I just find them in stores like Hot Topic or for online, try the science collection on Svaha or the Shenova "women in STEM" collection!
