I am very Grateful to God tonight!
My husband works at WalMart, where it is against the rules to use one's phone while on duty. One could even get in trouble just for carrying it while working.
Tonight he found himself locked inside a cooler (freezer or refrigerator). The handle is broken on the inside. He knocked and yelled for help to no avail.
Finally he recalled he had "forgotten" to put his cell phone in his locker. Yes, he has Wal Mart's phone number in his contacts. He called and help quickly arrived!
This could have been tragic. Somebody is getting a huge hug when I see him!!! (Hint I have his last name on my driver's license and all my documents...except my birth certificate)

I am so glad this turned out the way it did Edie. Walmart should at least have some sort of alarm on the inside or some other protocol in place. Let's hope this jogs them into doing something now rather than later.

God never sleeps. He is always watching out for us. Hope this will push Walmart to revisit their policy.
You have good reason to be grateful but for future reference inside those freezers beside the handle there should be a little round knob that you can turn and will unlock the freezer. They're made for things like this but a lot of time people aren't shown where or what it is. Thank God he's alright.
If you ask me, he didn't forget to put his phone in his locker, that is the way it was orchestrated by God! The Lord knew he would need it! God is so amazing, He covers us in dangers seen and unseen!

That is why I put quotation marks around the word "forgotten". It was definitely God that made sure he had his phone.
I hope he does! I certainly try to keep mine handy at all times. Some of my clients do not have landlines!
Even if they do, it does not help if ...
Well once a client had a seizure in the bathroom!
I can even give scenarios where the driver needs to call for help and keep on driving to get to safety.
