The Secret to Blog Post Creation
When I first started blogging in December of 2017 it took me hours to decide on just what to write about. After finding a good topic and keywords it would take me another couple of hours brainstorming just what to say.
Writer’s block is one of the most common hurdles that content creators have to overcome. It’s no easy task. Especially when you have A-list gurus who have been doing this for years knockong out post after post of great content.
So how does a new blogger speed up their success in blogging. For me, it took months and months of personal growth. I was stuck in a self-help addict mentality.
The old analysis by paralysis. I thought that the more I learned the more I had to write about.
It wasn’t until I started learning from content creators like Gary Vee, Russell Brunson, and Grant Cardone that I realized all the gurus put out amazing content using a simple strategy.
If you Google any of them GC, Russell, or Gary you see that they are constantly producing content. Just how do they do this? Aside from having an entourage they have a simple strategy.
Repurpose content.
Here is how it works. As a matter of fact, this very post you are reading was created using this strategy. I did a Facebook Live talking about this very topic and the five way to repurpose content.
I then downloaded the video to my pc’s, (does anyone still say that? PC?) Anyway, my pc’s hard-drive.
Then, I uploaded the video to YouTube and copied the video url and logged on to Fiverr. Fiverr is a freelance platform where you can find independent contractors to do an enormous amount of tasks starting at five dollars.
I paid a nice lady in the Philippines, she is my go-to lady and had her transcribe about 10 minutes worth of video content for five dollars. Neat, huh?
It took seven days to receive the transcriptions. Now, all I do is edit my post. And, repurpose it for my blog.
The conflict then becomes processing the huge amount of content to repurpose.
Now this is key. As bloggers we are taught to produce as many posts as you can. "Work on a schedule that will allow you to post consistently", they say.
And, hopefully in a year of two, you can reap the rewards of SEO, ranking, traffic, yadda
yadda..Recently, I decided to take another approach. I decided that instead of focusing on quantity I was going to focus on quality.
So, I have started creating good quality video content and repurposing on different platforms. Now, blog posts should not be just informative. They should provide AMAZING value to readers so they can turn into perspective customers.
