Why is it so hard?

Why is it so hard to:

• Stay focused
• Not get side tracked
  
• Make the first sale
  
• keep motivated

I have made squidoo lenses, bought domain names, been reading until my eyes hurt, got my own sites, wrote articles that are on the first page of google. Invested in an article submitter/spinner, worked for many of hours to get this done, but not have made a single sale.

Last 2 weeks I focused on 1 of my niches and created as much back links as I could. But still have not made a sale.

I can not be the only newbie who is frustrated. Sorry for my complaining, but I am trying and not seeing any results.

Maybe I should "count my blessings" I have learned so much in the last months. Think I just need a "motivational" speech.
