I have been trying to edit the posts and can't figure out how to delete the date.
Aplugin is not the answer you already have your answer from mdmajm4672 that is the solution
I wonder if a plugin would be the solution. Try this search from your dashboard /plugins/add new/ then in the search box add "blog post date" .
This generates a list of plugins. Also perhaps change the search string i listed above if you do not find one that meets your criteria.
I actually registered a phony domain name just to "play" with plugins, themes ect without hurting my live sites which I have not yet moved to WA yet.
You might want to create a phony site for testing. post any crap you want on it as a test. Keep the site and then use it as a "lab".
You might want to block google from indexing it, especially if you imported some of your live blog posts from your real site. That is because you do not want to have "duplicate content".
It is depending on your Theme. Look for a section "Display Excerpts" or something like it.
I can set it so it will show Author Name, Date Published, Category it is in and Tags.
Not sure if there is a way to ONLY exclude the date.
Hope that helps

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I tried them all. When in edit posts, I click view post and there is no date before the header. When I go to dashboard and click view site the date is there. I'll keep trying.
Try going into QUICK EDIT....this might work. I'm not sure about deleting dates...I know they can be rearranged. May I ask, why do you want to delete the dates of your posts? You may need this information at a future time. I know, I did when I had to search something out. Just food for thought! Good luck!
The date is on every post on my website. I don't want to delete the dates, I just want them off my site.
if your using wordpress you need to probably edit your theme. the ability to not show date and time on posts and pages is located on my theme. I use flexibility 3 for most of my sites.
see if there is a section where you can edit or manage your theme, look for a section within the editing section that talks about date and time postings.
hope this helps,
Gerald
EdA, When in Wordpress, Click on all Posts, then do not click anything, Go to Top right area, and click on Screen Options at top right, then uncheck the Date Box, and see if that helps your Question!

How do I remove the date from my website posts?
I have been trying to edit the posts and can't figure out how to delete the date.
I learned something new about WP, but I don't think mdmajm4672's solution applies across the board. As others have suggested here, the theme you use also figures in.
