A Business Plan essential!
I have been carrying on for a while, of how I am not doing very well with my time management and getting tasks completed within WA, and on my Websites!
I kept thinking of ways I could change this and tried some suggested ideas, and then brain caught up finally! (Yes it is a bit slow sometimes but gets there in the end)
I have run conventional businesses in the past and I always did a business plan and was very successful sticking to that plan!
So lightbulb moment! I have done a business plan over the weekend, worked out my marketing strategies for my online affiliate marketing business, and created a daily work schedule and timelines for my goals, as well as an expense chart and budget, and started on a new positive vibe this morning! So far so good!
There are plenty of free templates for business planns on Microsoft Office or just google one if you get stuck!
Goodbye by lovelies, back to work schedule!

The ones that come with Microsoft office are pretty good and easy to make changes to suit your own business. Also banks will give you a free template too! The bank ones are good for preparing budget and doing graphs. If you log in to Internet banking you can usually access them. If you can't find one that suits, PM me and I will make a copy of mine and then delete my info for you to add yours into it.
Cheers, Lisa
Thanks, Lisa, headed to MS Office now. That should do it. Thanks for taking the time.
Best, Steve
Hi Lisa
The suggestions in your post above make complete sense, thanks for that. A business plan is an indispensable part of growing a business, online or off. We really need to promote this to anyone trying get their online business off the ground. We can be so busy trying to learn the ropes of all things online, we unfortunately forget about the plan.
I just found that by doing one, I can make myself more accountable for getting the task done to reach my goals! Sometimes putting down on paper and having there in front of you when you work reminds you to get on with things.
Yup, I so need to do this! I have always been able to time manage offline business well, but I guess the internet has always been for randomly exploring info... until I now, when want I to run a business here! Am off to give myself a good talking to, thanks!
Lisa, I absolutely agree. A business plan is the map to your destination. The budget part of a business plan tells the "traveler" how much money is needed for food and gas to get to the destination.
Hi Lisa, Geat approach! I also have one that I made for my project before WA. (A borderline in time before and after. Haha!) When I am more familiar with affiliate systems and have better overview of potential affiliate offers I will adapt this to this new working frame. This plan had been created with launch date 1/1/2017 so I still have a lot of time to work on it, :) Go ahead and have a nice week!
And after you've done Michael's, could you make a start on mine too lol :) Well done Lisa, a good step forward :)

Great post Lisa. We often forget the basics of running a business and what you have suggested is a fundamental part of starting one. If we were seeking a loan from a bank that is the first thing we are asked do you have a business plan. I think one of the reasons we tend to skip developing one is because there are no bricks and mortar to an online business. Great suggestions, especially about managing time.
Yes Harvey, I think because you don't have a tangible object like a traditional business you forget to apply the same principles, like you said with the analogy of bricks and mortar! Cheers, Lisa
