Hi Folks!
I've been here at WA about six weeks. I am serious about earning income to take stress of my husband and help pay our children's college bills. I am also serious about being self-employed and developing multiple income streams.
I never, never, ever want to have to rely on an employer to hire me, offer me fulfilling work, refrain from abusing me, pay me a working wage, or anything else for that matter!
I've spent the last 25 years or more homeschooling our children and following my wonderful husband around the globe. Before that I served in the Marines and graduated from Mary Washington College - back before it became University of Mary Washington!
The finer points of social media are giving me fits. Before now I have been obdurate in my refusal to join multiple media sites, and I've NEVER connected with anyone I didn't know in real life before on the Internet. It's been interesting! I'm wondering if I need a pen name for my online business, just to protect my private life. Any thoughts on that? I'd love to hear your opinions!
Anybody else having a love/hate relationship with Wordpress? I'm not sure how I feel about them. When it works it's simple. When it doesn't work it's so complicated it makes me want to throw in the towel. I want to thank Kyle and Carter for creating WA, where getting answers isn't so blessed difficult! Most of the answers to my Wordpress debacles have come from WA, not Wordpress!
I am still very excited about being here at WA, and very optimistic. I am working hard to turn this into a money making venture. I don't have any desire to be rich. I just want to be able to take some strain off my hard working husband.
I am starting to reach out here at WA and help people, but only when I think I really do have a helpful answer. I know that I'm a beginner here, and that there's a lot of effort ahead to make me competent in affiliate marketing.
I look forward to getting to know each of you better. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Here is my website, as I close in on the end of course 2. If you have any suggestions for me, I'm eager to hear them.
All the best,
E. Conley

I'm new to building and reviewing websites, but from what I can see your site is very informative with a good sense of the personal experience. I'll try and do a fuller review for you when I'm up and running with mine. Well done though!
