On a roll! Future Goals
I am excited to say that I have created my own website! I am also revamping my previous wordpress blog and changing its focus based on what I have learned here so far. The videos are so helpful. I have read many blogs about SEO but none explained it as well as the WA instructionals.
My enthusiasm for this online journey is overwhelming. I'm having a blast setting everything up and dreaming about where this could take me. While I'm extremely excited about the future, I'm also struggling with some nerves about all the little details of the present. I will be relocating to another state with my husband's job at the end of January and I am hoping to be generating enough online income by then to stay home full time (around $1000 per month). To help me achieve this goal, I've decided (with my husband's support) to hold off applying for traditional employment in our new state before our move. This will give me a solid deadline as motivation and a few weeks of full-time free time to dedicate towards my success. The nerves kick in when I think about moving across the country without a guarenteed job waiting for me, but I'm buoyed by the hope of being able to stay home full time with my family!
Another goal I'm aiming working on is gaining a better understanding of the tax structure and legal ramifications surrounding affiliate marketing. I've been reading some blogs and talking to my CPA friends, and it seems that the best way to set myself up for success is to open a sole proprietorship LLC and set aside 20% of any income I earn for self employment taxes. What do you all think? Am I overthinking things?
