Have you lost your Mother ?

These three words ‘ Happy Mothers Day” can stir up a lot of emotions wouldn’t you agree?

It is a special day to honor your Mother.

She may or may not be blood related.

Your child may or not may be blood related.

The point is blood or not IT does not matter.

For those that have the privilege, honor, and capability, please do reach out to that special Mom. Let her know how appreciated and loved she is. Let’s go a step further.Let her know all year long.

For us that our Mothers are in Heaven, May we reflect with love and respectfully share those precious memories with others and keep HER ever so present!

In closing, may we say a special Prayer for the Mothers that have lost their baby, their child, and are grieving this weekend.

Sincerely,

Elaine

I lost my mother three times. First of all when I was 7 days old and secondly after finding her when she was 100 years old she decided that she didn't want to meet me. She changed her mind and then I lost her forever when she was almost 104 years old. She said that her 103rd birthday was the best one in her entire life. She spent it with her new family that included her grandson and his wife and three fantastic young great grandsons.
Blood does matter very very much!

What a wonderful story , thank you so much for sharing this with us.

We lost both of our mothers (3 and 4 years ago) and it really made me tear up going to the grocery store today and seeing everyone buying flowers. Miss them both so much.
Thank you for posting this. We know you have been through a recent loss of a mother as well.
Reading the other replies here made us feel better. Others have lost as well.

I lost my mom 10 years ago this July. She was 79 with Parkinson's.

The meme below is one of many I have on Mother's. But it really tells more than the words.

Sonny

Oh man, this made me cry. Thanks for sharing it.

I just sent you a PM.

I lost my mum earlier this year, around 4 months ago. It is still hard and the feelings so raw, but I am slowly coming to turns with it.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing this with us and we both can relate to your loss.

4 months is not long ago and yet it can seem like a million.
I’m sure you are raw.
You may not believe me,( I know I didn’t when it was said to me)
You will be able to breathe and smile again, it does take time but it does get better.
If you need an ear, or a shoulder, we are here.
Thank you again for sharing with us.

My mother died of cancer over half my life ago. Every now and then, at times of stress, a little voice in my head says "I want my mommy." So I feel out of things usually around Mother's Day festivities. Not today, thank you, Elaine for this.
