What WA has done for me so far!

I just wanted to let people know what WA has done for me so far.

WA has/is giving me the knowledge on how to make a website for yourself as well as understanding how the system works.

I'm understanding that within WA your traffic starts here and will eventually blossom out into google and snow ball into something amazing!

I've always wanted to start my own business and here I am doing what I love to do.

I must say I do have some advantage over most people within WA because I don't have a primary job to go to like I used to. I'm disabled by no choice of my own. Well at least the job that I used to have I couldn't do anymore physically and mentally.

Physically - I have rods and screws in my low back and plates and screws in my neck from a disease that I have.

Mentally - Medications are screwing with my head at times and I needed to be mentally sharp.

My job - I use to be a 911 operator for my local Sheriffs office. There was a lot of mental stress but well worth it after knowing that you saved someones life. I really loved that about my job! Some say that the physicality of the job is just sitting at a computer for 8 hrs a day. True, but try doing it for 8 hrs straight with no break when it's busier than all get out and you really don't have time to breathe. I would get up out of my chair barely because I was stiff and barely able to walk. It's really hard when that is something that you've done for 12 1/2 years and all of a sudden it's all over. I really miss the camaraderie with the deputies that I've work with and some other dispatchers. Mostly deputies that I've helped throughout the years. These guys are my family and they feel the same way about me from what I heard just today. Also, part of a dispatchers job is to go to court if needed to testify and if that meant sitting for 6 to 8 hrs then it does because the questions won't stop. LOL! I've had to testify at least 10 times over my tenure and believe me it's no fun.

So, to kind of wrap things up....

WA is helping me now by first off, starting my own online business, keeping me busy so I can feel a part of something and just not wilt away and die, teaching me about building a website with really no problem because of the training, and so far being a productive person within WA itself. Even though we haven't met in person it's still great to know all of you online! And if I can help anyone here, like I did at the Sheriffs office I will definitely give it my best shot.

If there is anything that I know about myself is that once I get into something that I like I will give it my all and I have deputies that can at-testify to that! I know that now.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and be safe what ever you're doing!
