The Wall

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog number 3 on WA charting my progress to building a successful business; as you can see I have titled this “The Wall”.

I had arrived at Course 2 lessons 4, 5 & 6, creating content for my website. And my mind had gone completely blank. Long distance runners call it “The Wall” when their energy starts to flag; authors call it “Writers Block” when they can’t think of anything to write; artists call it “Creative Block” when their creative juices cease to flow, whatever it is I got it!

For the whole of the month of January my mind was a complete blank – I could not concentrate on the tasks in the WA lessons and even my Greek learning suffered. I’m guessing that probably most people go through this at this stage of the WA learning process as it is an intensive & steep learning curve if you have never done this before. I spent time reading other members blogs and browsing their websites looking for inspiration to get me going again but nothing seemed to work.

What is happening now? I outsourced a couple of articles relevant to my niche to work with, and that seemed to be a trigger ; now I am getting my ideas back and starting to work on my website again, I am feeling the enthusiasm once more and I am looking forward to moving forward, if you see what I mean!

If anyone else has hit “The Wall” please let me know and what you did to deal with it.

Cheers,

Chris.

Glad to know that you're knocking down the wall:)

I am just now tearing down the remaining pieces of wall....they have now become 'stumbling blocks' which I am using as 'stepping stones' on my way up and onward......

Yeah, I am actually at the same point that you are and I am actually sort of experiencing the same issue. There's definitely a lot to take into consideration at this point like what keywords you want to use, how you are going to write, and the hardest part, figuring out what you are going to write about. I think it's just a matter of really sitting down and thinking about it. What I did was I created pages and brainstormed ideas that I could talk about for each page on like a notepad of some sort. This is really helping me out, but I am definitely a little stuck and at the same point that you are at. Thanks for sharing, thought I was the only one, guess I'm not :)

It's a very frustrating time, just got to battle through it.

Sure is... :(
