If you are not active in the community your ranks falls
What is more important? Getting ranked for ambassadorship or having a monetized website?
I realize that if you don't consistently show activity in the community your ranking declines. It doesn't stay one place until you are ready to help aroud the community again after other obligations. That means to keep your ranking moving to higher you have to be active everyday. What then? if you go through the training and apply what you learn to the point where your website becomes monetized. It will not become unmonetized, so which is better?
Although I would like to be ranked one day as a helper in the community, do I get paid for it? No! but why am I so disappointed that it fluctuates so much. Now, I am deciding to let it be what it be, I am going to move on towards building a monetized website. To me that is more important.
The key to keep your ranks moving to higher is daily activity and sometimes for hrs. moving around the community. I don't know about you but sometimes I have other things to do and attention to give to my immediate family. I am going to stop watching the ranks bar dancing up and down before I get distracted from the real agenda. A monetized website. Sorry guys, I am just venting a little bit, in a few days I might get over it.

You are so right. I also find myself moving around the community for hours and at the end I realise that my content is far by half done.
It's not about rankings, I have to admit it's tempting, but I see it as a give and receive process.
Anyway, we all have venting phases, no worries :)

I was judging myself on the ranks too when I first came in. Then I realised numbers don't dictate who I am and whether I am doing good or not.
So I just carried on and stopped looking at rankings lol
I'm fine now. I'm working out what works best for me and I go with that.
Thats what you are doing too.

I agree with you, I am just going to do what is most important for me. I still will help out in the community as I go along, but not while watching the rank numbers. That might get me frustrated again how it goes up and down. tsk! tsk!

You are right in that being in the community is not monetising your time but for me it’s part and parcel of the community and need not take up hours of your day. Your network is your net worth
