From Negative to Positive

I've recently started to venture into the land of email marketing. It's a scary place to go!!!
Anyways, I've been working on creating a follow-up series, which is definitely still in the very rough draft phase. However, I do have it live, so new subscribers are actually getting the emails after they sign up.
Anyways, today I got an email saying a lead had unsubscribed. I was a little bummed, but when I opened the email and saw his comment I was actually kind of hurt and disappointed. Here is the email:
I know it is super minor and probably shouldn't be something to worry about, but I still felt a bit upset that he said my hard work and hours of thought and typing were just a waste of time to him.

Then I remembered a few things.
1. The internet is filled with mean spirited people. Whether we like it or not, a lot of people become really mean behind the screen. They will say things behind the veil of the internet they would never say to you in person. You and I can't take these things personally because a lot of times these people are simply trying to get a reaction.
2. There will always be haters and people who are going to push back against what we have to say. I'm promoting WA and realistic ways to make money on the internet. If he doesn't want to hear what I have to teach him, then it's his loss and he'll just have to learn the hard way! What he probably doesn't realize is that time is exactly what it takes to be successful. Just merely by the fact that he said reading the real way to make money online is a waste of time tells me he's not going to find much success in his ventures.
3. I'm going to prove this guy wrong! I hope he stumbles back across my site in a year or two and discovers just how successful I have become doing exactly what he thought was a "waste of time".
Anyways, to Impatient Stephen Who Thinks Building An Online Business The Right Way Is A Waste Of Time, I wish you success, but I'm afraid you're not going to find it with that mentality!
