Bi-Monthly Report - March & April 2015

Well...now that May is almost finished, I figured it's about time to get my bi-monthly update up here from March & April!

Why am I so late? Well, I've basically had to put my entire web-presence on hold for the last month and a half. I didn't work for a single hour in the month of April and just got my first post in May up a few days ago. Why, you might ask? Well, you'll just have to read to the end to find out! ;)

Anyways, the great thing is that, despite being away for a month and a half, I still made over $350 in those two months! Now, tell me the first 8 months of work I put in with no results wasn't worth it!!!

If you take into account January and February, I made over $750 in the first four months of this year! It's nowhere close to where I am working to be, but it's a heck of a lot better than nothing...it's one month of rent!

So, let's get into the details of the last two months!

Traffic Report

As expected, my traffic did decrease a bit since the last report. I mean, I didn't produce any new content for a month and a half, so I'm not really troubled by this. I expect now that I will be producing content regularly again, those numbers should begin to shoot up once again.

Pageviews: 17,080 (-3,042)
Pages/Session: 2.80 (-0.18)
% New Visitors: 84.42% (-0.54)

Traffic Sources

I'm still having trouble filtering out all of the spam traffic. I'm pretty sure 99% of the Referral traffic is not legitimate traffic, and probably a good amount of the Direct traffic as well

Traffic Over Time

As per the usual, here is a chart of my total organic traffic since the very beginning of Kirby's Marketing. I always like to include this in every update just to give all of the new people here a little bit of perspective on how long it might take before you actually get any sort of legitimate traffic at all.

Time Spent

As I've mentioned already, April was not the best month, hence I didn't spend any time working on my site. I was doing so well in March... :(

Income Report

During the last two months, I've brought in a total of $353.60 from multiple sources. The two biggest sources were WA and one good product I am promoting on Clickbank that has to do with Pinterest.

The total amount of revenue I have brought in since day one has officially surpassed $1,000! So...that's exciting! I've made my first grand online!!!

Hourly Rate

If I take my total revenue divided by hours spent I earned $13.60 per hour spent working on my site in March and April! Other than my current job, that's the highest pay rate I've ever had, and I only need a few more dollars per hour to catch my current job!

Social Media Report

My social media profiles have been slowly creeping upwards, no thanks to any effort on my part. My biggest jump was my email list subscribers.

I know a lot of you have been following my quest to get my fiance here to the United States on a Fiance Visa. Well, since my last update she got her visa, flew here, a week and a half later we had the best planned-in-a-week-and-a-half wedding ever in the history of the world! Now, we're almost going on two months and I've never been happier! Anyways, here's some pictures:

With my mom! I'm so glad she got to see me get married while she still had all of her mental faculties. If you're not aware, my mom has been battling Stage IV breast cancer for about 4 years now. It spread to her brain in the last year and I was just praying that we could get Hezel here in time for her to see us married.
