What are the advantages of having a Linktree account?
Linktree has become a go-to tool for anyone trying to juggle multiple online links, from websites to social profiles to affiliate links.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a handful of projects, a couple of social media accounts, maybe a blog or two, and some affiliate links worth shouting about.
So, instead of tossing all those URLs into one chaotic bio, Linktree gives you one neat, organised page.
Here’s why it’s been a game-changer for me and why it might be for you, too.
1. All Your Links in One Simple Spot
The beauty of Linktree lies in its simplicity. It’s basically a central hub for your online presence, saving you from the chaos of scattering links everywhere.
For instance, on platforms like Instagram or TikTok, where you’re only allowed a single link in your bio, Linktree provides a workaround.
Click it, and boom—all your important links appear neatly organised.
When I first set up Linktree, I’d been hopping around my socials, dropping individual links here and there.
But honestly, it was a nightmare to manage and update. Now, I just send people to one Linktree link, and it covers everything.
It’s such a relief to tell folks, “Just click my Linktree,” and know they’ll find everything they need in one go.
2. A Professional Look That’s Easy to Customise
Linktree isn’t just practical—it looks pretty slick, too. It gives a clean, professional vibe right from the start.
You can customise it with colours, layouts, and fonts that match your brand, making it feel like an extension of your online persona.
I love how polished it looks; no more messy, overstuffed bios. I even matched the colors to my branding, so it feels like a natural part of my online space.
When people land on my Linktree, they’re greeted with a page that feels cohesive, intentional, and professional.
3. Direct Traffic to Multiple Places Simultaneously
Whether you’re promoting a blog, pushing a product, or showcasing your social profiles, Linktree lets you feature them all at once.
Instead of picking which link is the “most important,” you can put them all out there and let people choose.
For me, it’s a lifesaver. I can point people to my Wealthy Affiliate page, my blog, and even my latest affiliate products all at once.
No more guessing which link people might find useful—it’s all there. And if I’ve got something special going on, like a promo or new blog post, I can easily add it to the top of my Linktree without a hassle.
4. Track Link Performance with Built-in Analytics
One of the best things about Linktree is the analytics it provides. It lets you see which links are getting clicks, giving you real insights into what your audience is interested in.
This helps you fine-tune your approach and know where to focus your energy.
For example, I had a few different affiliate links up, and after a week or so, I noticed some were getting way more clicks than others.
So, I shifted my efforts to promoting those links a bit more, and it’s made a noticeable difference. It’s amazing how that kind of insight can help you streamline your marketing approach.
5. Quick and Simple Setup
Another huge perk?
Linktree is incredibly easy to set up. No coding, no technical skills needed. You just create an account, drop in your links, and you’re ready.
Updating it is just as easy—whether you’re adding a new link, moving things around, or deleting outdated ones, it takes seconds.
Back when I first set it up, I didn’t need a tech-savvy approach. I was up and running in no time, and any time I want to change things, it’s as simple as logging in, tweaking, and logging out.
6. Free Plan for Beginners
The free version of Linktree is plenty for most people starting out. You can include as many links as you want, and it still looks professional.
Of course, there’s a paid option that adds more customisation, advanced analytics, and priority support, but the free plan can cover a lot of ground.
I used the free plan initially, and it was more than enough for my needs. Even now, it’s nice to know that there’s a low-barrier option for anyone just dipping their toes into online marketing or social media management.
7. Boosts Conversion Rates by Simplifying Access
The more accessible you make your content, the more likely people are to engage.
When you make it easy for people to find what they’re looking for, you’re effectively removing barriers. And Linktree does just that—one click, and they’re in your world.
This is especially valuable in affiliate marketing. By leading people directly to a resource or product page, you increase the chance they’ll check it out and possibly make a purchase. It’s all about minimising the number of clicks between interest and action.
8. Works Everywhere
Linktree doesn’t limit you to one platform. You can use it anywhere you can drop a link—Instagram, Twitter, email signatures, even business cards.
It’s a flexible, one-size-fits-all solution for sharing your online presence across multiple platforms.
I’ve added my Linktree link to my profile here, to social profiles, emails, and even newsletters. It’s a huge time-saver, and it means I don’t have to re-think which link to share every time I’m posting on a different platform.
If you’ve got an active online presence or a handful of links to share, Linktree is one of the easiest ways to keep it all together.
Do you use something similar, or are you thinking of setting up a Linktree? I’d love to hear how you’re managing your online spaces, so drop a comment below!

LinkTree has become popular, perhaps because of the cost.
Could you just create a page on your WordPress website and put all your links on that page?
This way you could build your own brand instead of building the LinkTree brand.
You could, but then you'd lose the benefit of it (easy formatting, metrics, customisation). It's the analytics bit that I quite like.
And the url format looks quite nice > https://linktr.ee/dkohara
Thanks, Dave,
I didn't know anything about Linktree, and from what you've shared, I might just go take a look.

Haha, thanks. I really love this software because you can just add one link to profiles etc., then if you add new Linktree items they're automatically updated EVERYWHERE.
