Use Facebook Blueprint
Social media has always been my weak point. I have been working hard at learning and catching up so that I can use social media more in my business. Social media and mobile devices are the future so if you have been like me, then it is time to join me and get on board.
Facebook is a very interesting media, to say the least. Many of you have stated that you don't like Facebook. I personally do not like the way it intrudes into your life. I don't want to be linked with people from my past or people just because I lived there or went to school there. I want to choose who I link with. After all, I might owe them money and I don't want them to find me! LOL!
Facebook for business can be a very useful thing to be involved with. In order to have a business page, you have to have a personal page. I keep the two separate. My personal page has little to no activity. I simply have it in order to have the business pages.
There is a great tool that everyone should take advantage of even if you do nothing else with Facebook.
This tool is the Audience Insights feature. It allows you to study your target audience and better understand who they are and what they like and do. It tracks just about everything that you can think of. Even if you do not use Facebook you can use this information to target your audience for your blog, sites, or products.
What is even more interesting is the training that Facebook provides for free.

I completed the course on Audience Insights and it was easy to follow and to-the-point. I will most likely complete other courses down the road.

I'm still in the process of studying my lessons here at WA but I will be looking to this stuff in the future.
I feel this way too, I like to choose who and when! That is what I like about FB business. It does seem to remain private from your personal profile. But twice I created a twitter account and both times one of my sisters found me!! Oh well! We can be proud of this, that's what I'm thinking!!

I'm much like you with Facebook. I use it to keep in touch with my family and a few close friends. I'm not sure about using it for my business. I would really like to keep it away from nosy people on Facebook. Call me stubborn, but I'm not a big fan of people slamming others for doing something constructive to better themselves. I may change my mind later down the line, but for now...I'm not big on the idea. I will look at the course and see what it's like. Wish me luck.
Really? I would have never guessed lol, you helped me out tremendously! I truly suck at it! Twitter is my fav right now it has served me the absolute best. Google+ I know a lot of you like it but it is so slow, FB so slow, Pinterest dreadful lol...sorry guys...I didn't think I would like Twitter either but I was very wrong. Everyday, I want to close all my accounts (except) Twitter, but my kids are telling me to be patient lol...kids telling a mom to be patient, wow what a change...Thanks for the link~Sherry

Yep there is several I saved it to my favorites, that is a company that wants you to succeed. That really made me feel good :)
That was my first thought as well. They want you to do the right things. I have a life saying that I first heard in the Army and now I use it for my life. "If you are going to go through a minefield, follow somebody"! LOL! Here is a true example of this in action. Dave.
