I have been a member of the Wealthy Affiliate family for a couple of months and I am slowly working my way to the training program.

During that time I have written an e-book Guide to Effective Policy Implementation.

I have purchased a domain name and set up a website Guide to Writing Policy.

Have published a number of pages and posts as part of content development and SEO optimisation.

I have also written a number of articles in Ezine and have had them approved.

I have learnt how to ad media content to my webpages and how to post to Google +. I am starting to generate some generic traffic but to date have not had a sale .

I am amazed at the level of support at the Wealthy Affiliate family has offered. The training programs and a live webinars have provided me with so much information. I am enjoying the process of developing and editing the website trying to improve it as I gain more and more information..

I think the biggest challenge is going to be the development of additional websites and making sure that all the things I have learned are not forgotten, especially some of the subtle steps required to achieve page 1 rankings. .

The second challenge is putting enough meaningful unique content together that is supported by relevant keywords.( Stay away from content spinners)

The third challenge is not to get distracted and sidelined by all the competing and conflicting advice on the net on how to make money online. There are so many miracle shortcut programs guaranteeing that within hours of installing them you will make $20,000, $30,000 $50,000 in sales without having to do any work.

Internet marketing provides a marvellous environment for the vulnerable to be relieved of their finances very quickly by unscrupulous operators with sleek marketing videos promising untold wealth and benefits as long as you are prepared to part with your $19.97 to get their exceptionally limited time sensitive offer. The countdown timer is flashing on your screen only 30 seconds to go before the offer is withdrawn never to be repeated.

Over the next 3 to 6 months I hope to be able to get my site ranked on page 1 and have 2 to 3 affiliate marketing sites ranked and a few daily sales to help things on their way.
