Did You Have a Lot of Interests to Choose From When Picking Your Niche?

Hi everyone,

I’ve always been interested in a lot of different things. In a way, that made starting an online business a bit challenging. Having too many interests sometimes felt like a good problem to have, but it also meant I struggled to choose what to focus on.

In the end, I decided to pick something I liked enough to stick with for the long haul, knowing that learning the process was just as important as the topic itself.

So, I’m curious:

  • Did you have a lot of interests to pick from when you were deciding on your niche?
  • How did you finally choose what to focus on?

Drop a quick comment—I’d love to hear about your experience.

Thanks again to everyone who takes the time to share their thoughts.

Dan

The intersection of those three elements pointed me toward content creation. I also realized that having multiple interests isn't necessarily a weakness; it can help you bring unique perspectives to your chosen niche. Sometimes when I need a mental break from decision-making, I play casual games like Italian Brainrot Clicker to clear my head. https://italianbrainrotclickergame.com

Hi Michael, thank you for your comment. I agree with you, different perspectives can help you with the chosen niche. So, yes, multiple interests can be a strength.

I was all over the place when choosing my niche. It was more of want to do everything and wined up doing nothing. 😅

Hi Shakida, thank you for your comment. I hope something did come out of everything in the end lol

I started with Boot Camp and promoting Wealthy Affiliate back in 2014, but have since gained the confidence to explore other niche ideas and moved forward with one. That's what I love about the training, it opens your eyes to the true potential within you and teaches you how to make it happen.

Hi Jason, thank you for your comment. That is so true; the longer you do something and the more you learn, the more you realize that you did not think about in the beginning.
