My first week
Hello Everyone,
Today marks my 6th day being apart of Wealthy Affiliates. I must say that I've received an abundance of a few things: support, training and utility. I've learned so much about the opportunities that lie ahead of me (If I pursue them), but I've also hit my first struggles. Is my niche good enough? How do I know if I am structuring my website in a fashion that will both be informative, and opportunistic regarding potential income? I absolutely have not lost my motivation, just hit a bit of a speed bump... My first website is a passion of mine, White Water Rafting. I am a guide in the summertime in Ohiopyle PA on the Youghiogheny River (Yough for short). I am a bit confused how my website will be anything more than expansions of my appreciation for nature, and overseeing peoples well being as they have the time of their lives... Maybe I could advertise the job itself, being a raft guide. Or I could advertise Ohiopyle, or rafting in general. Maybe rafting equipment. I'm just not sure what is the best option regarding potential revenue. But I know from the training modules I should not be focused on money, more so on progress. Alas, I will continue to reciprocate the positivity that I've been doused in since I become apart of this wonderful community, and bounce back tomorrow.

Hello and welcome to WA! If you feel overwhelm try to step back from your computer and try not to confuse your self. Although, it says in the training that don't focused on money yet...you also need to be realistic that the niche your working with can be monetize at the end. I wish you all the best...Nenita
Very true. You're advice is quite constructive... I am wondering if there is any kind possible way to monetize the end result of my site. I'm not convinced about the possibility of this through my subjective expression / appreciation for White Water Rafting. But I do see value in finishing my first free site, just to get my feet wet. I absolutely will need to use my mind to come up with a 'money-making' niche. or some kind of valuable service I can offer my visitors. Thank you Nenita!
