A Wonderful Vacation

Yesterday, we got back from our wonderful vacation. The east bound cross country train ride ended up being 18 hours late because of a flood and an accident. Believe it or not. Our train hit a car. The driver was fine but the investigation took 3 hours. Our trip home was only 4 minutes behind scdedule.

I spent a lot of time fishing with my two grandsons. Our granddaugher showed us her beautiful drawings and the best places to eat. Our daughter-in-law opened her home to us. Both we talked for hours with both our sons. Ginger and I hadn't seen the Canadian half of our family for almost 4 years so this was a thrill. We were older and so were they. My grandson, Cam, just turned 13. He is taller than me!

We had spotty phone service and no internet most of the places where we spent time. That was another wonderful thing. We texted back home once a day, when we could, to let everyone know how and where we were. But, other than that, we just spent time together.

I am ready to enjoy the WA community again. We have lots of video material for our Youtube channel and my fishing site. We are back refreshed. After almost three weeks riding on trains, fishing and visiting, I am ready to "Keep on fishin'" again.
