There really IS a niche for EVERYTHING!!
I just had to share this little tidbit...
Driving home, my husband called me and wanted to let me know he found an interesting niche that I might want to explore further. He then added that this would have to be a brick and mortar business. He also said he felt sure I would be successful. He had my attention. "What is it?" I asked with more than a little curiosity and some excitement.
Between fits of laughter he finally got on with the details. He was at that very moment passing a van advertising it's services. "Pooper-Scoopers. We Scoop Your Dog's Poop from your Yard" After both of us stopped laughing, I wondered..... HHMMMMMMM.... there really IS a niche for everything!!

Funny story and I agree that there are an incredible number of niches. I understand the pet industry is huge and maybe pooper scoopers and such would be rewarding. I mean the tools, not the poop :) All the best to you.
I truly believe that there is a niche for the word niche!! Not sure how much money it would make, but believe there is one!
Well, at least it would be different and I can't see there being that much competition, but you never know lol :-D.

"Pooper-Scoopers" ....do make very good money...
I know of a person who was an executive for a large corporation who lost his job because of downsizing....(this was in 1983)....and his wife came up with the idea and he took action on it....and Voila!....In a year, he was making more money then he was at his corporate position...
He was creative with this new business venture and guess what?.... He doesn't do the "poop-scooping"...he has hundreds of people doing it for him.....
So....Why Not Try It! .... Do a blog on it...and get the attention of so many who love their pet dog.
