Reach for your goals

I have only been with WA for just over a month but feel that i have already got so much from the site, training and the community. For that i am very grateful.

I am a strong believer in self development and because of this i constantly try to read new books and listen to inspirational and productive training. One of my constant struggles is tryin to balance every little task that i either have to get done or would like to get done each day, week or month.

Because of this struggle i find that i need to set myself goals, (i am a competative person who does not like to fail) i then have a target to hit by a certain point which means i will either fail or suceed. I much prefer to exceed.

i have also due to WA and the fact that this is a completly new type of endevour for me added to my goals some habbit goals. I never included habit goals before but if i look back at my original goals for WA on the What are my money goals page they seem so far off that i would easily get dishartened.

How can i set myself a goal that will work towards those goals, simple really if i am to write two posts a week this will work towards me achieving my money goals and therefor i creat a habit goal that works towards my longer term money goal.

Just an idea that i use to try to push myself further each week.

I have written more about goal setting on my website, My Pathway To Riches.

Enjoy the Day

Glad you are enjoying WA so much.

Perhaps consider having a series of money goals, maybe starting with $100/month, then $250, then $500 or $1000 and so on until you reach your ultimate goal. I've found that having those milestones along the way is better than having only a huge number at the end. You still make it to your ultimate goal, but you can enjoy small successes along the way which helps make the final one seem more achievable.

Thanks that is another very helpful tip.
