The image compression website you shared with us all a few days back now, well ... I used in on my personal blog AND my business blog. That goody saved me EASILY100MB of web hosting room.
And ... I figured out WHY image compression never worked well for me before. There use to be a gif compression available, and it was THAT compression that did not work.
Like you, yesterday, I went online and found a free file converter from gif to png and found this site: http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-png I've used this site for video conversion for years now, so it was nice to see they convert images too ... and, good quality conversion that were partially compressed too.
