"NEWBIE" - 1st blog experience at WA so far!"

So, I've been here 5 days now and decided to write my first ever blog about my experiences so far here at WA! Hopefully it is relevant to any newbie stumbling upon this in their new venture:0)

I've never done anything like this before as the internet for me in the past has just been a place to gain knowledge on certain interests, keep up to date with current affairs or buying the odd thing on Ebay. So when my husband (who had been trawling for months to find something legitamate in the field of earning a living online) stumbled onto WA and suggesting myself to take the training, I never looked back. Thank God!

Here at WA I've found a wealth of information and knowledge (all for FREE!) in setting up an online business, along with an incredibly friendly, varied and supportive community who are willing to help if you just ask! Honestly, whether it be using the chat room or blogging or using the search tool bar (near the top of the page) , if you get stuck on ANYTHING someone will help you within a short space of time (all for FREE as well!)

I decided to read up on the profiles of the people following me when I joined and its amazing as there is such an eclectic mix of personalites, ages, experiences and backgrounds....all wanting to better themselves in learning what Affiliate Marketing is all about...I have read so many positive comments and thoughts about WA that I wanted to contribute too as it really is a blessing that Kyle and Carson are offering this opportunity to learn the basics ABSOLUTELY FREE!

I guess my first hurdle was in Lesson 1, Step 1 - write a short profile of yourself...never done this before! I mean to write something about yourself in a few sentences is quite challenging in itself... its best to state some of your interests and goals within WA and what ecperiences(or none!) that you have...just be yourself!

My second hurdle was in Lesson 1 (again!), Step 3 - introducing yourself in the chat room ...never done this before either...funny I always thought that chat rooms were a platform for dating opportunities!...phew I'm glad I've overcome that and realise that is isn't!

Third hurdle was choosing my niche in Lesson 3...again a tricky one as i have many interests but not sure if I knew enough about them to start a website. I used the search tool bar (near top of page) and the chat rooms to get further advice...everyone was extremely helpful:0 (thanks to Labman especially)...what I understand is that it doesn't matter what niche you choose (as ANY niche will work) it all depends on your CONTENT.
I found myself thinking about this subject ALL DAY! -upon waking up; going to work; at work; coming back from work; whilst eating; brushing my teeth etc etc etc! Thank God, after much deliberating, I think I've found my niche!

So far I've completed the first half of Level 1 training (wow- wee that's an acheivement in itself!) and can't wait to get stuck in to the next half!

**NEWCOMERS**....please please start from the bottom and work your way up as this is invaluable information that hopefully you will take away and apply, so my advice is to start the free training on your left sidebar and see you soon....oh yeah...DON'T FORGET TO ASK!

I saw a question about you, dreadless19, being confused about the explanation of the optimal numbers when doing keyword research, which you posted in the training page and I was curious about the outcome, but I now cannot find the question neither the answer, if anyone answered it ... could you perhaps help out the Joe, please? Maybe copy and paste or whatever..?

Optimal numbers are the ones that Jay covered last night in the WAbinar. 100-500 searches per month and 300 or less competition (QSR).

Thanks for the bark! Always nice to hear from you...
