Hello WA family. I am pleased to tell everyone that my WP website framework is done. I say framework because

there is a constant need to create a better and better WP website. But the basic is finally here. That's my big Win in doing this

I have a confession to make. I was originally a member here back around 2009. I went off to a similar membership site until 2011 until 2013. And back again in 2019. All this time without any real application. I did plenty of reading and watching very well made videos. With a few tentative attempts at action but without any real forward motion.

BTW the other site, I will call it site A is a reputable site. The owner has over 30 courses on all aspect of online marketing. He has built a large training facility in Maryland where ppl can go and be mentored on how to become very successful. I will not say who this person is or the site name because I don't feel that would be appropriate to give that info on this site that Carson and Kyle sp lovingly started and grew into what is here now. And by the way, WA has grown by great leaps and bounds over what was available back in 2009.

So the question could be asked why did I continue to go back and forth like this., Hell if I had stayed in one place over the last 10 I would be a multimillionaire by now!

Ok, I finally have the answer to the question. About a few weeks ago I ran into a situation where I needed to add my Google Adsense to my WP. After watching WA instructional video I tried to duplicate what I saw on my laptop screen. without success. After multiple attempts the same thing; no success. I reached out to this community for the answer. A young lady kindly offered a link to another WA video. I watched the video I tried to duplicate what I saw, the same story. So someone suggested that I contact Support. Support sent me a video with the same result.

I retrospect the old habits kicked in when I went back to membership site A and looked around. I went to YT looking for something not knowing what. I even tried a few spammy actions with no success. I felt the old fire in the belly from when I got back into WA was starting to die down again!!!

Then I remembered Fiverr were there a vast assortment of topic specialties on any given subject that are Virtual Assistant that for a very reasonable fee will do a host of jobs for me.

I had used them to very good effect in writing my current content. For about $15 a very nice article on any Jaaxy found low hanging fruit KW can be had. About 1-2 days tops a review copy is sent to me.

I use this service for several reasons, the first is that I can not really type, It is slow mistake laden enterprise which I have to edit redit re-edit, etc, etc. Add to this, for want of I better name I have dyslexia which complicates my primitive typing skills plus my spelling skill are rudimentary. thank God for spell correct and or Grammarly.

So writing a 1500 word article after research would take hours and hours. So an investment of $15 for about a few hours of my time to add images and make any slight change to the product document.

So I looked for a WP specialist who could add my Adsense code to my site. After about 3-4 days of correspondence, I finally had my code added to my site was there on display, Also I didn't have the uncertainty that my site was being laid out correctly. Which was a bit of a demotivator this thing right? I am aware of the reciprocal page where I connect on a site and I can get a similar review of my site.

I didn't feel comfortable with this because I don't have enough experience to be able to give a cogent critique of someone else's set may be an "I like the layout and the color or I did not like the layout. But had no ability to offer any valid handling of any problem that I thought I saw.

So I felt stuck. This whole social media business is totally outside of my comfort zone. I was born in 1952 some of you imagine what electronics I was exposed to growing up in the 60" and 70" TV and radio. That was it.

All of this new computer tech while marvelous to behold' Sci-Fi writer and engineer Authur C Clake famously stated, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Some of the things that I do with my laptop and or cellphone do seem like magic.

I could take a magic wand say a few magic words and Poof a pink unicorn appears in my bedroom.! I that how I feel with all this technology I have at my fingertips.

So I am getting to the crux of the long blog (my apologies) . With some fits and starts after contact with Fiverr to add to my site and I had a WP expert look at my site and make some changes the font, etc so now I have certainty that I did not have before.

At that moment feeling very good about my site I had an epiphany of sorts. Why do I keep going from one shiny object to another? I would not stay in one place long enough to see results? Why. because I was afraid that I would while training on this new wondrous technology I would get stuck not knowing how to get unstuck reach out for help and didn't get help, or the help did not work or I could not duplicate the instructions. But I was not able to proceed. I "have to go forward, can't go forward situation" over and over again in my mind. Which was very stressful!!!

So I would blow that membership site, say site A to get away from the emotional pain of being stuck with seemingly no handling

This is in no way a criticism of WA I am 95% please with the help I have received here. Maybe the other 3% was the result of my not being able to follow the instructions. The other 2 %, nothing is perfect.

The investment with Fiverr for both services was less $60 dollars, I know my website is now set up correctly and with Google Adsense ads in place, I can start making money which is the purpose anyway.

So now there are no stops on any aspect of marketing training if I get stuck place an order at Fiverr received offer on my project look over it and take the best one. They are hungry for your business and so far they do a great job.

So the unspoken fear the unknown fear has been handled so now no barriers to my ultra success. I have heard many many times that a business owner works on things that he good at and hires other ppl to do those things that are important but he is not good is he finds uninteresting. Thats what I am doing with Fiverr.

There are those have followed me with the help I want to say thank you.

Finally, I had a bit of a hidden agenda. From time to time I would see other members that they were leaving WA. Because I did not need any negativity I was fighting my own I did not read but my suspicion is that many have been a fair amount of former WA members had the same problem as I stated above and at least had the manners to say goodbye'

So if anyone is having similar problems here at WA but if you don't get the Tech help to are looking for go over to Fiverr. BTW i have no vested interest in Fiverr except to try to help. This is strictly a help flow, There are other similar sites to Fiverr I just have not used them so I cannot speak from experience.

Lastly, I solved a 10-year problem that was my barrier to success. I have stated before that I have a superpower it is persistence. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, I may pause in the following my goals but I don't stop. The postulate has held me in good stead in my life towards my ultimate goal for being here at WA is to help myself my significant other, my family my group and the human race to survive better, And WA will give me the financial wherewithal to make the above a reality.

So take care and remember to have a worthy goal for your life and just don't stop don't ever stop.
