Notification is taking most of my time. Is there anything I can do about them?
In the WA community; people are really good and very helpful. They are willing to help one another. I am glad to read most lessons from them. As I am new and just starting. I am very much engaged in reading about all they say, they ask, they teach, etc.
The serious part is found myself all the time bogged down to answering or commenting on notifications. This led me not to work on my site. Keep on procrastinating all the time.
Is anyone with solutions to this?
Myself have now vowed to continue going through the training in the WA community until I finish.

Just reply the one which you think are helpful to you. The more people you follow, the more notifications you will receive.
Actually under Account Setting you can select what you would like to receive.
It's all about managing your time properly as with any business.

Give yourself a set amount of time each day for this task, read and respond to those that have interest and discard the others.
You are right, this is what is happening to me too. It takes me hours to respond to notifications, trying to participate in discussions and answering questions.
But I really have nothing to write so I enjoy monitoring what is happening.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the same thing as Loes.
When I first started getting serious about WA, I prided myself on the fact that I responded to pretty much everything. I always made sure to respond, like, comment... This had the effect of moving me up through the ranks, which in turn brought more notifications my way.....
Eventually it got to be too much. Even now, I get more email in a day than I used to get in a month. I do what I can to keep up, but my own site hast to take priority. I love the community and l love the interaction, but I am not paying to chat.
I did the same thing but learned how to answer and email quickly and early so as not to get bogged down. You're right that we're not paying to chat and it could easily get out of control....!

As for me I'm lucky, that I am able to go through them at work. Because there is no way I would get anything done otherwise. I get 150 plus a day. And yes there is so much great information. If I were in your shoes I would only answer the ones that were appealing to me.
