I joined in here less than one month ago and dove right into the training. The first biggest challenge I met was the selection of a niche.
I have a number of things I'm really interested in but in which I have limited in depth knowledge. So when it came to niche selection, my first impulse was to select a niche in personal development.
As the training got on and content was required at several levels, I realized I had run out of content. So I was at a level where I should buy a domain name, but the niche I'm working on has run dry of content.
I tried to proceed with the training anyway but realized I was missing out so much on the real value of the training without my domain name.
So what did I do?
I abandoned that niche and went right back at the beginning of the training. A niche I had overlooked which is actually my area of professional expertise is what I went back to. You know, coming to the online world and then something like beekeeping; it sounded funny in my ears at first.
Getting back into this niche, I had to sit down and analyze it, is it only good to take me through the training successfully or there is potential financial value in it. When I started doing this I realized how much potential is in the beekeeping niche.
Things that I had taught for years. Probably it's this familiarity that made me think f the topic as some tired idea.
So I went back and started all over again and I thank God I did. I moved fast through the training and purchased a domain name that I'm happy with so far. Going through the training has become fun because developing content comes naturally in the niche for me.
You see, I have this "teacher inspiration" kind of thing that takes you over when you are sure you are delivering value. That is what drives my content creation sessions now.
I haven't gone too far as I'm still only at level two of the training but I think I'm getting value. I have not gotten even close to the money but I have a very optimistic outlook into the future.
I've been here less than a month and I can see measurable progress, I think I'm not too crazy to think bullishly about the possibilities for the next six to twelve months.
Some few things have happened to really boost my spirit even though the tasks have been so demanding. My website had a page get indexed on Google and it was a wonderful feeling, also some generous members here commented on one of my posts and I felt really encouraged.
I'm looking forward to my next lessons being careful not to rush but move at my speed with the training and see what these efforts will accomplish.
