Work Is Dragging Me Down

Hello everybody. At work, we have these machines called I Pads. Im more than happy to do what needs to be done on them. I need to conduct a J.S.A( Job Safety Analysis), followed by a job report.I do not mind this, but its the rest of it i am annoyed about.I am constantly bomoarded with emails, some interesting, some down right annoying.I understand they have a business to run, but they are seriously taking me away from what i should be doing. Building a good future for myself.

Very true problem for all of us, Doug!

Lol I know what you mean. Even with filters, it can be hard to separate the good from chaff.

Thankyou. I think at the moment, my biggest concern is the traffic. It is getting worse daily. Because no one takes the train anymore, it is putting a huge strain on our already struggling infrastructure. Ive noticed a big shift in peoples behaviour. No one lets you in anymore, pushing in, tailgaiters., its just out of control. For now, i will have to stick with it. Thanks again.

Yes, pressure from so many fronts affects behavior.

We hope you get a refresher this weekend.

Hi Doug,
I can totally sympathize with what you are saying. I was in that situation many times. I found that the best way to deal with that is to somehow change your perspective. Maybe try to think of some positive aspects of the job or the benefits it gives you (steady pay cheque, etc.)
Also, you might want to think of all those people that lost their jobs due to pandemic and are wishing they still had their "horrible, boring" jobs.
I hope this helps.

Anna, i never even thought of that. I do appreciate having a job, but i hate getting out of bed on a lighter note. You have earned my follow. Much thanks.
