To be blind is beautiful
The world around us has a natural beauty
To see it without judgment
is to capture its true essence
When we feel the stillness
projecting the presence
That is the time the nature
of what is beautiful is revealed
To capture that time as it stands still
becomes a picture that lasts a lifetime
The subject not feeling the piercing eyes
can be the person they are
Nature can flow undisturbed
revealing its belly
As time stands still
everything moves in a rhythmic heartbeat
The picture does not lie
as it has been given permission
to record this second in time
for everyone to see with their eyes

I like your poem, Mel. I was good in poetry in school, but I lost that touch over the years.
Thank you, its strange when you say I lost touch. When I read this poem for instance I keep thinking where did that come from. When I wrote that poem I was in a very deep state of mind and the words just seem to flow.It always happens after reading a book or watching television or simply going for a drive.
I would encourage you to start writing again. Just be yourself without any restrictions and when you are writing feel like you are one with the universe. When you get into that state of mind you will be surprised how the words will start to flow.
