Exciting Times
Today I made a decision and took a step that cost me money ...
... and has the potential to reward me more than I expect.
Worth every penny.....
As long as....
I keep taking steps.
It's so easy to make a decision and be excited without ever doing any of the work. I intend to put in the steady learning as well as (and this is important) the action to show myself I have learnt well.
What do I hope to achievee?
Firstly the satisfaction of learning something new. I think it's important to learn a new skill. I don't believe we're ever to old to learn. I picture my mother aged 85 in front of her new computer rubbing her hands with glee and saying, "Teach me everything you can. I want to get good at this." It opened the world to her. We can get huge satisfaction whether or not we achieve big results.
I would also like to make an extra income at home. Grandchildren don't come cheap . We want to enjoy making memories with our grandson by doing things and going places just for fun. We aren't grandparents raising grandkids, we simply have him often (to our joy).
This isn't just for us. " If I can do it so can you", is my attitude. I want to show other Grandparents that we have the same opportunities now to contribute income to the family and a delightful way to keep ourselves busy, alert and active.
So, here's to Grandparents making money from home!

Hi Dorothy, enjoyed your post, also read your profile. You are a lady of action. All the best in your on line endeavours. I am following you and hope you will follow me. I know what you mean about grandchildren. My youngest grandchild is now sixteen, last night him and I went out for dinner and took in a movie. It is a different experience than with my children, but it is enjoyable.

Yes, It's a real privilege to have time for the grankids - we only have one and he's 14 months. We get to look after him 2 days a week (and the night in between) Love it
