One Month Anniversary with WA

I can't believe it's been a month since I joined Wealthy Affiliate as a starter member and have since become a premium member. It's been so much fun and a lot of hard work. Even though it's hard work, the beauty is that I'm able to see outcomes via my website, content, images, comments, etc. It's true... you get out of WA what you put into WA.

I'm pleased with what I've accomplished thus far:

• I'm on Course 3, Lesson 5 of the Certification training. I know...I move a little slower than most.
• I have a website that I FINALLY feel brave enough to list on my WA profile. Check it out when you have time!
• I've been able to insert a few affiliate links within my content.
• I've "paid-it-forward" by providing site feedback and leaving helpful and unique comments. In turn, others have done the same for me. Thank you!
• My site health is listed as Awesome. I have 100% across the board with the exception that I'm at 80% feedback and 0% site trust. I know once my site is a little more "mature" that my site health will improve. Can't wait to see that happen!
• I'm learning (slowly) how to leverage Google+
• I've made many, many WA friends who are so helpful and supportive

As I continue this journey, I'm very excited about the possibilities. This stuff works. If you build it (correctly), they will come. Now, it doesn't mean they'll come right away....but they will come...eventually. :-) I look at other websites/blogs differently now. I take notice of keywords, images and advertisements and the placement of those components. I'm constantly writing down ideas in my WA notebook because I'm afraid that when I'm at a point to integrate the ideas, I'll forget. My creativity and confidence have grown so much. It's a pretty fantastic feeling and I hope everyone feels that way.

For those who are just starting out, I want to encourage you not to give up. This material might be a huge learning curve for some of you, and know that it still is for me. You may think you're moving too slow. Take your time...I do. Don't be afraid to ask questions...I do. Or you might think this will net you income overnight...it won't. You're building a business and that takes time, effort, patience and sometimes a lot of lumps. Learn from the lumps and press on. We can do this!! See you at the top!
