A website rather than I niche site?

I'm thinking I may have over extended myself. I wanted my second site to be about being frugal and ways to save money. Now I'm thinking I may have put to much into it as far as the menu goes. I've got recipes, categorized by meal, household items including crafts for kids, homemade cleaners, and pets. Also a page for online savings and deals. Sometimes the niche thing does confuse me, not that I don't understand the term, just have a tendency to not narrow things down, and focus on one area, this is basically how my brain runs, never focusing on one thing at a time, multiple thoughts swimming around there all at once....lol
